Information processed to provide the tool

  • Location input. The location you type is used to build a geo-targeted (UULE) Google search URL. To improve accuracy, free-form locations may be sent to a geocoding service (such as the OpenStreetMap Nominatim API) to resolve a clean place name.
  • Search execution. When you open a result, the request goes directly to Google from your browser. Google's own privacy terms apply to that interaction.

Cookies and analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate, anonymized usage (such as page views) so we can improve the tool. Any analytics cookies are limited to this purpose. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
