I'm Hassnain Karim, a local SEO practitioner working primarily with U.S. service businesses — the kind of work where a client's actual ranking in their own city is the whole ballgame. Checking that properly means looking at Google the way a real searcher in that city sees it: personalized by location, not by whatever city my own laptop happens to be sitting in.
